INTRODUCTION
By registering for services through Canada Citizenship Help, you (“the Client”) enter into a formal agreement with Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services, retaining the services of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to act on your behalf in accordance with the terms set out herein.
This Agreement is entered into pursuant to the Service Agreement Regulation (By-law 9) and the Code of Professional Conduct of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the national regulatory body governing immigration consultants in Canada.
1. DEFINITIONS
Unless otherwise stated, terms used in this Agreement have the meanings prescribed in the CICC Service Agreement Regulation and applicable by-laws.
- Authorized Representative: A professional licensed under Canadian law to provide immigration or citizenship advice or services
- CICC: College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants
- Client: The individual or entity retaining the RCIC
- Designate: A person authorized in writing by the Client to act on their behalf
- Disbursements: Expenses incurred during representation (e.g., courier fees, translation fees, government filing fees)
- RCIC: The authorized representative from Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services (RCIC #R534755)
- IRCC: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
- Service Agreement: This contract governs the professional relationship between the Client and the RCIC
2. CLIENT INFORMATION
Client information is collected electronically at the time of registration for citizenship services and is securely stored in Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The information collected forms an integral part of this Service Agreement.
This information includes, but is not limited to, the Client’s full name, contact details, identity information, and other data required for immigration representation.
The Client acknowledges that this information may be produced to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) or other authorized authorities upon lawful request.
3. SCOPE OF SERVICES / CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS
The Client retains the RCIC solely for the purpose of preparing and submitting an application for Proof of Canadian Citizenship and/or any related Canadian citizenship application required by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), including related correspondence with IRCC.
No other immigration or legal services are included unless expressly agreed to in writing.
4. PRELIMINARY ADVICE DISCLOSURE
Any information provided to the Client prior to the signing and execution of this Agreement, whether by email, telephone, or other informal communication, was provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal or immigration advice.
Only immigration or legal advice provided after execution of this Agreement, and within the scope of services defined herein, shall be considered binding on the RCIC, unless otherwise expressly stated in writing and acknowledged by both parties after execution of this Agreement.
5. ENTIRE AGREEMENT / SUPERSEDING COMMUNICATIONS
This Service Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and the RCIC and supersedes all prior communications, representations, or information, whether oral or written, including emails, phone calls, consultations, or informal discussions, made prior to execution.
Any modification, additional advice, or representation shall be binding only if set out in writing and acknowledged by both parties after execution of this Agreement.
6. RCIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The RCIC agrees to:
- Provide professional immigration and citizenship advice within the scope of this Agreement
- Prepare, review, and submit required forms and supporting documentation
- Provide a personalized document checklist
- Submit the application to IRCC in a timely manner
- Communicate reasonably with the Client regarding case status
- Manage correspondence with IRCC on the Client’s behalf
- Act in the Client’s best interests within the limits of Canadian law
The RCIC undertakes to provide services competently and diligently, and to adequately supervise any staff or assistants, if applicable.
7. ASSISTANTS / DELEGATION
The RCIC may be assisted by administrative staff under direct supervision. No independent consultants or unauthorized persons will provide immigration advice to the Client.
8. SERVICES DISCLAIMER
- All immigration and citizenship decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or other authorized government bodies.
- The RCIC cannot influence, guarantee, or expedite decisions or processing times.
- Eligibility criteria, procedures, documentation requirements, and processing pathways are determined exclusively by IRCC and may change due to legislative, policy, or operational updates.
Services are provided within the scope of this Agreement and on an “as is” basis. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or issuance of any document.
9. FEES, TAXES & DISBURSEMENTS
- Professional fees are flat-rate, as disclosed on the online registration page at the time of sign-up
- Fees are subject to applicable federal or provincial taxes
- Estimated disbursements may include translation, courier, notarization, or government filing fees and are not included unless expressly stated
10. BILLING METHOD
All professional and administrative fees are payable online at the time of registration.
11. REFUND POLICY
- Professional fees are earned as services are rendered
- Government filing fees and disbursements are non-refundable
- No refund will be issued in cases of misrepresentation, incomplete disclosure, or IRCC refusal or delay
- A refund may be issued only if no services have been rendered, including but not limited to phone calls, emails, document review, or submissions to government portals
Once any action is taken on the Client’s behalf, services are deemed rendered.
12. CONFIDENTIALITY
All personal information received will remain confidential and used solely for immigration representation, unless disclosure is required by law.
Professional confidentiality obligations apply; however, this does not create solicitor-client privilege with IRCC or other authorities.
13. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY (PIPEDA-COMPLIANT)
Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable privacy laws.
Personal information is collected solely for the purposes of immigration and citizenship representation, regulatory compliance, client communication, and record-keeping. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel and safeguarded through administrative, technical, and physical security measures.
Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except:
- As required for representation before IRCC or other government authorities
- As required by law or regulatory bodies (including CICC)
- With the Client’s consent
The Client may request access to, or correction of, their personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Additional details are available in the firm’s Privacy Policy, accessible on its website.
14. COMPLAINTS & ROLE OF CICC
The CICC regulates RCICs to protect the public. If the Client has concerns about professional conduct, they must first submit them in writing to the RCIC.

The Client acknowledges that the CICC may require production of this Agreement and related records.
15. LANGUAGE OF SERVICE
Services under this Agreement are provided in English and/or French, based on the Client’s preference and the RCIC’s availability.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
The RCIC is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including legislative changes, government action, pandemics, or natural disasters.
17. TERMINATION & WITHDRAWAL
The Client may terminate this Agreement in writing at any time. Refunds, if any, are governed by the Refund Policy.
The RCIC may withdraw in accordance with the CICC Code of Professional Conduct, without prejudice to the Client.
All original documents will be returned within 30 days of termination.
18. FILE CONTINUITY (INCAPACITY)
In the event of death, incapacity, or inability of the RCIC to continue services, the Client’s file will be handled in accordance with CICC requirements, including transfer to another authorized RCIC or return of the file to the Client.
19. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
20. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
The Client acknowledges having been informed of the CICC Code of Professional Conduct and confirms that a copy is available on the CICC website.

22. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE
By electronically signing through our online sign-up platform and entering your initials, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Service Agreement.
In accordance with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) By-law 9 (Service Agreement Regulation), this electronic acceptance constitutes valid execution of the Agreement. Upon successful completion of the sign-up process, this Agreement becomes legally binding and enforceable by both parties—the Client and the RCIC.
